I take great pleasure in welcoming you to
GrandPrix EliteServices. I trust that you will find this overview
of our services and the business stimulating and of interest.
As the founder of the company, I am now in the very proud position
of being able to introduce to you the unique offering of GrandPrix
EliteServices (GPES). The development of GPES has taken place
over the last four years, and first and foremost I would like
to acknowledge the input, support and contribution of so many
contacts, colleagues, friends and family. I would also like
to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all
those that have been involved in the creation and development
of the company it’s been a gallant team achievement.
It has been a privilege to work with you all, I look forward
to sharing the success as we develop the business.
When I started to lay the foundations of GPES, there was a
great deal of uncertainty within the motorsport industry where
I have spent the majority of my background both professionally
and socially. As I reflect on the accomplishment so far and
review the huge amounts of work, data and documentation we
have created, my attention is drawn towards my very first thinking,
rationale and motivation on which the business has been based,
which is a collective consolidation of my personal interests,
professional experience & expertise, and my most passionate desires.
Two of the key passionate desires that I consider have brought
most satisfaction and fulfilment are firstly, my passion to
contribute, make improvements and give something back both in
general and to an industry that has brought me tremendous personal
pleasure, delight and excitement that of World Championship
Motorsport, recognising that while there were plenty of developments
and improvements being made in the industry internally, there
was very little to it’s support system.
The second is the belief, ability and commitment of constant
growth, improvement and raising standards, from both a personal
perspective and in the promise of the business and service
we provide. In Japan they understand this principle very well.
A nation that has achieved remarkable accomplishment in a global
environment. In fact they recognise that this principle &
mindset has made such a profound effect in their culture they
have a specific word that distinguishes its effect, this word
is Kaizen meaning continuous improvement (gradual & simple),
to create compounded enhancements at a level most would never
dream of. Kaizen is now a Japanese philosophy of which key
elements of Kaizen are quality, effort, involvement of all
employees, willingness to change and communication. Astonishingly,
yet not surprisingly, we have no equivalent for the word Kaizen
in English. It is my passionate commitment and mission to both
those that are involved and those we service, to maintain Kaizen
as a pledge combined with our constant commitment to exceed
expectations.
If we have not already done so, I look forward to meeting you
in person.
With warm and sincere regards,
Stephen J. Atwell
