During a week that witnessed the immensely
shattering news of the loss of two extraordinary talented
and inspirational leaders in fulfill their passion in life
and overcoming adversity, Dame Anita Roddick DBE, creator,
founder and visionary of the Body Shop, on Monday 10th Sept.
2007, and Colin McRae MBE, World Rally Champion and driving
genius, along with son Johnny, on Saturday 15th Sept. 2007,
GrandPrix EliteServices would like to pay tribute, extend
their sincere condolences and very deepest sympathy to both
the Roddick and McRae families, along with the families of
friends of Colin and Johnny - Ben Porcelli and Graeme Duncan.
CEO, Stephen Atwell has said that he is deeply saddened on learning of the news
of both Anita and Colin, "They are two people that I salute to have pushed
the boundaries of possibilities in what they can achieve in life and immensely
influenced and inspired me to lead my passions in life, they have both picked
up life by the scruff of the neck and not let go till they’ve achieved
what they set out to do. Fearless leaders and remarkably inspirational.
Colin was a the leading inspiration for my passion in motorsport and I am very
honoured to have had the privilege to have met my idol, and relaxed and chatted
with him earlier this year at the Monaco Grand Prix, this is a moment in time
I shall treasure and will inspire the rest of my career, my life and encourage
me to fulfill my passions in times of hesitation."
